The Hire Company of the Year Award recognises hire companies who have gone the extra mile when it comes to customer service, safety and performance. There are two categories in the Hire Company of the Year award – General Hire (both under and over $10million) and Events Division.

Award Terms and Conditions
​

• All nominees must be a financial member of the HRIA.

• One nomination is allowed by each financial member for the HRIA.

• Members can only be nominated in one category of the Hire Company of the year – General Hire under $10 million turnover, General Hire over $10 million turnover or Events Division.

• The previous 2 years award winners in the Hire Company of the Year category (2024 and 2025) are ineligible to be nominated.

• The previous years' finalists (2025 finalists) are ineligible to be nominated.

• To be eligible to use the finalist logo and receive the finalist trophy, finalists must complete the entire submission process including judging.

• Nominees must accept their nomination and complete a submission within the provided timeframe.​
